The Library subscribes to a number of different financial data resources. Your tutor can help you to use the sites and Library staff can help you if you have problems logging in.
Workspace has replaced Eikon as the software that we use for accessing live financial information (company share prices, commodities, currency exchange rates, ESG data and more). Workspace can be downloaded to a PC or Mac and used as a desktop application, or it can run in the browser.
Access: You now have to create a personal account with LSEG to access Workspace and Datastream. Please download and follow the relevant instruction guide to learn how to download and use the software:
Training: Please speak to your tutor for advice on downloading data from Datastream and which variables to use. There are lots of training materials (videos, guides, certification tests etc.) on the My Account section of the LSEG website - sign in with your LSEG account details, click on the Support tab in the top right and then on the Training button.
Support: If you have issues logging in or accessing your account then please make sure you have followed the instructions in the guides above, including waiting overnight for your access to be granted. If you are still having issues then please contact your librarian: Doug Broadbent-Yale (d.broadbent-yale@uea.ac.uk)
