RNIB Bookshare

RNIB Bookshare provides textbooks and materials to support the UK curriculum. They offer a range of accessible formats that can be read electronically or adapted to suit your personal reading needs. There are over a million titles in the collection with more being added all the time!

 

Who Is RNIB Bookshare For?

This service is for any person who has a print disability, this may include:  

Blind and partially sighted 

Persons who are blind or who have an impairment of visual function which cannot be improved, by the use of corrective lenses, to a level that would normally be acceptable for reading without a special level or kind of light.

Learning disability 

Persons who are unable to effectively read print due to dyslexia or other cognitive learning disabilities such as Autism or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). 

Physical disability 

Persons who are unable to, through physical disability, hold or manipulate a book, or who are unable to focus or move their eyes to the extent that would normally be acceptable for reading.

 

How Do I Sign Up?

Click the button below to request an RNIB Bookshare account. We will send log-on details and some guidance to get you started (usually within 5 working days).   

If you would like to browse the RNIB Bookshare website prior to signing up, you can do so but you won’t be able to access content without an account.
