UEA Library is committed to providing resources for our users that offer excellent content at great value. As such, we are constantly evaluating our collection and subscriptions, making changes where necessary to ensure we are providing the best service possible. The latest change to our subscriptions is the removal of the legacy Nexis newspaper database, effective from 1st January 2025.
Previously, UEA Library has offered two main online options for academic/research content for current and archives of main UK and international newspapers – Gale Research Complete: News and our legacy offering : Nexis Newspapers. Since 2024, our teams have been focusing on Gale Research Complete: News in our teaching and support, shifting away from the Nexis legacy product.
From 1st January 2025, the legacy Nexis newspaper database will no longer be available for UEA. Gale Research Complete: News will continue as our main academic/research focused newspaper subscription for the UEA community.
