UEA Library is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded Professional Service of the Year at the Transforming Education Awards!

The awards were organised and hosted by the UEA Students’ Union, with students nominating and shortlisting the individuals and teams for each category. With over 325 nominations this year, it is an honour to not only be nominated but awarded for Professional Service of the Year.

The Library was commended for our ongoing work to create a welcoming and inclusive space, and our engagement throughout the year with awareness themes, including our popular book displays.

Library staff are dedicated to providing the best possible service for all our users and are committed to actively seeking out feedback from students to improve the student experience.

Carly Sharples, Head of User Experience said: “This award is from the students themselves, to thank us for what we do, so I cannot imagine a higher accolade. We are very grateful for this recognition and will continue to provide the very best library service we can for all our students.”
