LinkedIn learning

LinkedIn Learning houses a catalogue of online courses, video tutorials and learning paths to help you learn new skills. These online courses are available to access anytime and you can learn at your own pace, on many different topics. And we haven’t even mentioned the biggest benefit of all… all UEA students (and recent graduates) can access LinkedIn Learning for FREE through the University.

You as a Researcher

You as a researcher

To build up your profile and professional network as a researcher you can:

  • Use Scopus or Web of Science to identify titles to target for publication, identify key authors to contact and collaborate with as well as analysing the impact of your research

  • Track your research and presence with an ORCiD, for more information check out the RIN ORCiD page

  • Check the submission procedures for the journal you wish to publish in- they are all different and some are extremely strict

Open Research, sometimes known as Open Science, is an approach to make research processes more transparent. This can be applied to all stages of the research lifecycle, with the aim of addressing problems of reproducibility and accessibility of research findings.
